उदाहरण:

24, 72, 100 के गुणनखंड निकालें:

  • 24 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 3
  • 72 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 3 × 3
  • 100 = 2 × 2 × 5 × 5

संख्याएँ 2, 3, 5 गुणनखंड कहलाती हैं।

अभाज्य गुणनखंड

अभाज्य गुणनखंड वह अभाज्य संख्या है जो किसी संख्या को पूर्णतः विभाजित करती है।

उदाहरण:

57 = 3 × 19
